Hello Again

Hello again!  I know it has been several months since I have posted last and I do apologize.  My computer had died over the summer and it was a while before I was blessed with a new one.  However, I praise Jesus that I was blessed with a new computer as my old computer still had Windows XP operating on it and now I have Windows 8, which I am still getting used to and learning how to use.  I also have joined the tablet world and got one that I can attach a keyboard too.  So, I guess you could say it is a tablet/laptop.  And yes folks, I finally have WiFi.  To be honest, I now wonder how I ever lived without it.  So, I am still updating and downloading and adding and as always, trying to reconnect.

You know, you really don't realize what you have until it is gone.  For those several months without a computer and Internet access, I literally felt like I had dropped off the face of the earth.  For the first time in awhile, I was alone, well, sort of.  Those days when everyone was busy, those days when you just didn't have any face to face contact, it was nice to have the computer to log on and say hi to some folks.  I definitely missed being able to blog as well.

I have some other news as well.  My health has not been well and I am now considered someone who is disabled and unable to work, so blogging and the computer is my only way to connect some days and some of my sense of purpose.  Well, I can no longer spend long hours.  I can at least spend a little time and I am so grateful for it.  You might be wondering why now for disability.  I am only 35 years old, right?  Well, I have Type 1 diabetes which is what you might call brittle, I have fibromyalgia and what is believed to be connective muscle disease, which I have been told is an early form of lupus.  I am doing my best not to receive that last one because if there is one thing I have learned, it is that just because you are told something you don't have to receive that for it is Jesus who has the last Word and His Word declares that as children of God we are already healed thanks to His finished work at Calvary.  So, I guess you can say I am doing my best not to receive any of the things I have been told I have but that does not mean that I don't take my medicine.  Faith is not denying fact, it is believing that the facts can and do change.

So folks I am praying for all of you.  I may or may not know you, I may or may not know your needs but our heavenly Father does and the answers are already on their way (read the book of Daniel).  I hope to be stopping back a lot more often and I hope that you will do the same.  God Bless!
