Prayers for Japan

Hello everyone, I pray that your days are going well and that the Lord's blessing is upon you as He makes His face to shine upon you. I am writing today out of concern for Japan and those who have lost loved ones, those still not found and those injured and hurting. I am asking that we all take a moment out of each day to say a prayer for Japan, especially considering the latest concern over the nuclear power plants.
"Father God, we approach Your Throne of Grace, with boldness and with confidence that you hear our prayers and discern our thoughts from afar, knowing that our answer to our prayers is already on its way before these prayers have even left our lips or finger tips. Lord, we thank You for Your compassion and mercy, we thank you that you hold the Japanese people at a very high regard and at the very center of your heart. We thank you that even now you are already at work on their behalf. We ask you to cool down the nuclear power plants, to speak to the oceans and calm the raging waters, to aid in the search and rescue efforts, to heal, to bring peace and comfort and to recede the waters, still the shaking and bring stillness to Japan. Jesus bring about healing and restoration as only you can. Send your ministers and angels to Japan in great multitudes and increase your presence there. We love you Jesus and know that you consider the people of Japan precious and hold them securely in your arms. You have collected their every tear and they have not suffered alone, that even there you are with them in this time of great trouble. Thank you Jesus that you never leave us nor forsake us. We ask all these things in your name Jesus. Amen."
There are some that say these are the beginning of the "birth pains" that are talked about in the book of Matthew, and I believe that Christ will soon return for His bride. If you or someone you know is unaware of the grace of Jesus, then please let them know. He became mortal so that we could become immortal, he died on a cross over 2000 years ago so that we could have eternal life, He cried "My God, My God," so that we could cry "Abba Father," He relinquished all He had in heaven so that we could become joint heirs with Him, He became sin so that we could become the righteousness of God, and as He is, so are we in this world. It has nothing to do with what we do but everything to do with who He is, He is Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God.
It is so great to be part of the family of God and I hope that if you haven't done so already that you will join me because I can't wait to call you sister and brother.
God Bless!
In His Most Amazing Love and Grace,
Marlena

Sending a prayer out........

I was just sitting here watching Piers Morgan Tonight with Bret Michaels and was really enjoying the interview. Bret was talking about the medically horrific things that have happened to him and he began to discuss how he became diabetic at the young age of 6 years old and he is now 47. I, like Bret, became diabetic at a young age. I was 10 years old when I became diabetic and I am now 33. I have lived pretty much unscathed by the disease until last year, 2010 and interestingly enough, Bret's medical troubles began in 2010 as well - though seemingly unrelated to his diabetes, unlike mine. He found out while filming Celebrity Apprentice that his daughter was pre-diabetic and I can relate to the scare of that news. I really applaud Bret for bringing awareness to diabetes and as well, for doing all that he has done to find the cure and help those who are living with it, continue to live wonderful lives. However, as interviewers often do, out of the blue, Piers starts asking him about Charlie Sheen, who happens to be one of Bret's best friends. Now, I understand Charlie is the hot topic but think that instead of railroading him, gossiping about him, etc., or even seeking out what his friends are thinking. We need to send him our prayers because he needs that above anything else. So people like Charlie Sheen, Lyndsay Lohan, Paris Hilton or anyone else, family, friends, we need to pray and we need to just show them that we are here when they are ready. Prayer is the most powerful weapon we have in our arsenal and praying God's Word for these individuals is the super powerful weapon. It is time as Christians that we arm ourselves for the greatest battle of all, the battle for each individual soul, each individual life, for He does not wish for any to perish but for all to have everlasting, Zoe, God given in abundance, life.
In Jesus Name, We Pray, Amen.
