Telephone ringing, dishpan filled to the top,

Overflowing, suds,

Dog scratching, biting, barking,

Whining for that bone,

Cat meowing, clawing, rubbing,

Purring in perfect rhythm.

Distractions, Distractions,

Chaos that needs to stop,

Can't concentrate, Can't pray,

Can't focus on what His Word has to say.

Still desperately seeking,

Wanting to find,

Just some words of encouragement and support,

Needing to feel,

The tender mercies of Love,

But, no one has the Time,

Some want to,

Some don't,

Some are mean spirited,

Some are kind hearted,

And won't.

Yet, not wanting to rely on others,

For Validation,

I,

Reimburse,

Re-in verse,

Rewrite,

Recreate,

Myself,

So, I am a new creation,

The old has passed away.

Who I am in Him,

Is all that matters in the end.

As the circle,

Reinvents,

For the last time.

Choose you this day....

Choose you this day whom you will serve. - a statement that was made to provide for a make it or break it point. You can not serve both God and man, and guaranteed, man will disappoint every time, while God, never fails, never wavers, is the same yesterday, today and forever. God is the one constant, the one stability in a very unstable world. Now, I try to stay away from political or very controversial issues as my one solitary aim is to display Christ's love, God's love, for you and for me. However with so much press and I know blogging, I have to make my two scents known about the building of a Mosque at Ground Zero. I try my best to be tolerant but this has nothing to do with tolerance, but it has everything to do with who we are in Christ and who we are as a nation. It is a known fact that in the Muslim religion, Islamic terrorists thrive on building a Mosque at the site of a great victory. Now, as a nation, a God founded nation, are we ready to give Islamic terrorists that murdered thousands, and tried to take out this God founded nation, are we ready to give them victory over us. Well, I am not. The issue is not whether or not they can build a Mosque, I am fine with them building a Mosque, just not at Ground Zero. Why are they so intent on building at Ground Zero anyway, hmmm, think about that one.

So before we cry bigotry, let's stop and think about what we are doing, what we are giving away, and what that means for us as a nation. We are a powerful nation not because of man but because of the God of our Fathers. Let me know what you think. I prefer to stay One Nation Under God, just not under Allah - God is "I AM," and Allah is "I AM NOT." I hate to put it in those words but God and Allah are not the same, in much the same way as God and Vishnu are not the same, God and Buddah are not the same.
